This infrared thermometer is used for measuring the temperature of an object's surface, applicable in measuring temperature of various hot, hazardous or hard-to-reach objects without any contact safely and quickly.

The unit consists of Optics, Temperature Sensor Signal amplifier, Processing circuit and LCD Display. The Optics collects the infrared energy emitted by the object and focus onto the Sensor. The sensor then translates the energy into an electricity signal. This signal will turn into digital shown on the LCD after the signal amplifier and processing circuit.
