The polariscope is use to test cut or rough gemstones. Allows two polarising filters to observe the structure and optical properties of precious stones or minerals. It can also be used in identifying Moissanite and detecting strain in diamonds. Equally important and just a little more expensive. It can be used with a thing called a stainless sphere, (that is a glass sphere with no strain lines in it,) or a loupe. It visually shows if a stone is doubly or singularly refractive and its optic sign. It will also show strain and twinning, which will occasionally help to distinguish between natural and man made materials.

Most new, unopened items can be returned within thirty (30) days of delivery for a full refund. If the return is due to our error—such as receiving an incorrect or defective item—we will also cover the return shipping costs.
If you request a refund, it will be issued using the original payment method within four (4) weeks after you hand the package over to the return carrier. This timeframe includes shipping transit to our facility, processing upon receipt, and the time required for the refund to be posted to your account.
WARRANTY POLICYMost of our items come with one (1) year warranty for manufacturer defects. It does not include damage caused by misuse, accidents, abuse, alterations, neglect or other external causes.
The warranty will not extend to consumables (i.e. electrodes, calibration solution, battery, index oil), accessories, cable, compact disk and/or any written document bundled with the item.
